We have undertaken a variety of steps to ensure that our employees benefit from a clean, efficient, and hazard-free place of work—and these efforts have even earned official honors. On June 20, 2013, Prudential’s plant in Phoenix, AZ was formally recognized as a Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) “Star” site at an awards ceremony hosted by the Arizona Department of Occupational Health and Safety (ADOSH).

The VPP certification is presented by ADOSH to workplaces that adhere to optimal safety practices. The award concluded a wide-ranging two-year process in which the Phoenix plant carried out a comprehensive strategy to assemble a workplace that complied with the highest safety standards in the industry. “Safety is no accident,” was told to the assembled crowd at the ceremony. “And our safety journey doesn’t stop here; this is just the beginning.”
