Prudential Overall Supply Improves Garment Repair Process

16Apr

Irvine, CA - Prudential Overall Supply, an industry leader in reusable image work apparel and related textiles, today announced the official roll-out of its improved garment repair program.

Based on customer feedback communicated through Prudential’s customer visitation program, the top area for improved service related to garment repairs. Prudential listened, and has added a position called a Quality Assurance Inspector to each of its laundry processing plants. The Quality Assurance Inspector is tasked with individually inspecting each garment before it is released. The Quality Assurance Inspector looks for garments needing repairs, replacement and upgrades. Garments needing repair are routed to the location where they are repaired and returned for distribution to be delivered as scheduled.

Prudential’s President, Tom Watts comments, “Prudential’s customer visitation process is a listening post where customers help keep us focused on areas where we can better serve them. The garment repair issue was one that we heard from our customers, evaluated, and determined that we could do more. So, we made the investment, and the initial results indicate that we are catching more repairs than ever before. This means that our customers have uniforms that are repaired, cleaned and ready for use each day; keeping them looking professional and ready to work.”
