Local Businesses to Connect at Grand Opening of New Prescott Valley Service Center
Prescott Valley, AZ - Prudential Overall Supply is opening its doors to owners and managers of all Northern Arizona manufacturing, retail, wholesale, hospitality, and trade contractor businesses. By calling to register in advance, they may reserve a seat at the Grand Opening celebration of the company’s new service center. The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, April 30. Lunch will be served.
“We are using this occasion to highlight our commitment to supporting economic growth throughout the region,” said Tom Watts, Prudential Overall Supply’s president. “Across Northern Arizona, businesses both large and small are working hard to make life better for their employees. We want to commend them for their efforts by giving them this opportunity to enjoy a little time together and to share our vision for the future of the region.”
Presenters at the celebration will include Gary Marks, executive director, Prescott Valley Economic Development Foundation. He will offer suggestions about how any employer can help facilitate development and economic growth. Marks will highlight the importance of promoting the region, not just the immediate locale, to attracting new businesses. Prescott Valley has grown as consumer-products distribution hub, he observes, largely because of its good proximity and highway access to population centers in Arizona and surrounding states.
Prudential is one such distribution operation. Its Prescott Valley facility serves businesses as far as 200 miles away with reusable image work apparel and related textiles. The new 15,000-square-foot service center covers about 800 business accounts and has been designed to double its business in coming years.
