Prudential Overall Supply Recognized for Safety Award by The Textile Rental Service Association (TRSA)

IRVINE, CA – April 15th, 2022

On March 30, 2022, Individuals and Operations were honored by their peers for outstanding efforts made in specialized categories in their digital, safety, educational, inclusionary, and operational pursuits. The SafeTRSA Excellence Award, honors those whose projects and achievements have produced or reflected safety gains due to efforts made by the company on both an employee and executive level.

Honored individual from Prudential Overall Supply and operation include:

Hector Durand, Safety and Health Manager at Prudential Overall Supply in Irvine, CA. Hector Durand, one of the leaders who oversaw the effort to improve ergonomics at Prudential Overall Supply, was recognized for on-site analysis of multiple operating sites that examined more than 100 opportunities, spotlighting to employees those with the greatest safety impact. This led to an operating plan that included participation from key stakeholders that included Safety, Human Resources, and Maintenance and Engineering. He has also worked on issues including workstation height analysis and remediation, deeper training and accountability, cart use and heat stress. These efforts have improved operations and evolved the corporate culture that recognizes employee health and safety as a priority.
